Role Responsibilities will include:
• Leading, motivating, developing a team to become best in class;
• Delivering all financial reporting to tight timescales, including statutory accounts;
• Managing the production of budgets, forecasts and cashflows;
• Implementing process improvements and taking ownership of key finance projects;
• Supporting the board deliver the startegic agenda and deputising for the Chief Exec where appropriate;
• Driving commercial decision-making to promote growth
The successful Financial Director will have:
• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA considered);
• A breadth of experience across technical and commercial accounting;
• Proven experience in process improvements;
• Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) to interact at all levels and bring finance to life for non-finance stakeholders;
• Experience in leading and developing others with a positive mindset.
