Churchill Howard are recruiting on behalf of an accountancy practice based in Birmingham. Due to continued growth and success in the local market they are looking to recruit at both Audit Senior level (£40-45k base + bonus + bens) and Audit Assistant Manager level (£45-50k base + bonus + bens).

Qualities and tasks include:

•Demonstrate problem solving ability and solutions based approach.

•Manage the audit process and demonstrate the ability to consider audit risk issues and technical accounting issues.

•Preparing and reviewing work papers.

•Delegation of work - with junior associates having received appropriate on the job guidance/coaching.

•Producing commercial management reports, specifically drafting sections of the report to management.

•Being actively involved in other ad-hoc duties and gaining exposure to other key service lines within the firm.

Essential Requirements are:

•ACA, CA, ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or approaching qualification in 2025.

•Some audit experience in either a small or large practice.

Preferable:

•Knowledge of UK or US GAAP and/or SOX reporting - although not essential.
