Churchill Howard are recruiting a Commercial Finance Controller in partnership with a high profile organisation in North Birmingham. The role will take ownership of a key business area and oversee a team responsible for commercial decision support and financial insight.

You will be the principal finance liaison for a number of executive stakeholders and be a key part of the finance leadership team. You will own the budget and forecast processes and manage the costs and capital expenditure for your remit. A long term strategic outlook is expected as you will be a major contributor to the strategic planning process.

To be successful, you will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with a track record of academic and professional achievement. You will currently be operating in a Commercial Finance leadership role (preferably within FMCG or retail sector) and be able to demonstrate high energy and drive to motivate and lead a team. You will need to be an outstanding communicator who can engage and influence stakeholders at executive level as well as play a full role in leadership meetings.
